A one-of-a-kind design partnership between Hindware Limited and Livingetc India saw the coming together of creatives from across the country. The creative breadth of entries was phenomenal as each designer took their own approach to designing their dream bathroom space. The star-studded jury panel comprised of Annkur Khosla of Annkur Khosla Design Studio, Rajiv Parekh of reD Architects, and Priyanka P. Mehra and Piyush Mehra of PS Design, as well as Sudhanshu Pokhriyal, Chief Executive Officer, Bath & Tiles Business, Hindware Limited, Charu Malhotra, Vice-President, Marketing, Hindware Limited, and Pragnya Rao, Editor-in-Charge of Livingetc India.

Conceptualised as a platform for talent across India to showcase the best in terms of ideas and innovation in bathroom design, the Livingetc Beyond the Bath Design Challenge and Awards presented by Hindware Italian Collection saw a huge number of entries from across the country. “We are looking to go bigger and bolder and extend it to many more cities in the next year, making this a formidable and exciting property for the design fraternity,” says Sudhanshu Pokhriyal, Chief Executive Officer, Bath & Tiles Business, Hindware Limited. Over the past few months, the collective wave of talent continued to surprise and impress us. “It is quite exciting to not only see the depth of talent in the country but also the magic they can weave with Hindware products,” says Charu Malhotra, Vice-President, Marketing, Hindware Limited. It started off as a unique design challenge where we invited the country’s architects and designers to share their vision of a truly stylish bathroom showcasing the Hindware Italian collection or QUEO. “It was great to see the creativity and innovation that the current generation of designers are bringing to the table,” remarked Pragnya Rao, Editor-in-Charge of Livingetc India. The entries were eventually shortlisted to a super selective list of 25 entries, with the participants coming together in Mumbai for a gala night.

While this home has a design forward and modern look, it unabashedly indulges in the innate desire and need for humans to live close to nature. This is what ultimately makes it a timelessly aspirational home.
