A wallpaper collection inspired by the Aravalli forests elevates interiors while gently spotlighting the urgency of environmental awareness

Wallpapers have an effortless way of adding character to blank walls and changing the mood of a space, and the Neelvana collection, created by Life n Colors in collaboration with Shabnam Gupta, does exactly that – along with a deeper sense of awareness and meaning. Inspired by the Aravalli forests, the series of 25 scenic wallpapers extend across walls, ceilings, panels, and wardrobes, allowing the visual language to flow effortlessly through the home. More than just decoration, these wallpapers serve as a reminder of the vanishing greenery around us.
Rather than literal depictions, this collection is an illustrated journey of an imaginary forest with landscapes and rich flora that bring a sense of sculptural depth to modern interiors. Colour plays a very important role in the overall mood of Neelvana. The palette follows the forest through the day: moss green in the morning, warm sepia at noon, soft blue at dusk and deep charcoal grey as night falls. Each tone shifts the atmosphere of a space, allowing the same design to feel different in each space.

Alongside its design story, Neelvana holds a subtle reference to the Aravalli forests, whose thinning landscapes inspired the collection’s deeper intent. This awareness is reflected in Life n Colors’ mindful approach to making, where design is shaped with care and a conscious effort to reduce environmental impact, allowing the collection to close on a note of responsibility as much as beauty.
